We are currently looking for a dynamic individual to join our body shop team as an Estimator.
SALARY: $30/hour and up, depending on experience
YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inspect damaged vehicles to assess the extent of repairs needed;
- Manage supplements with insurance companies;
- Order parts;
- Perform vehicle walk-arounds with clients to confirm damages;
- Find manufacturer repair procedures and specifications to ensure work meets standards;
- Take measurements and photos to document damage;
- Prepare detailed estimates for clients and insurers;
- Communicate with clients;
- Work with insurance companies to obtain repair approvals;
- Monitor repair progress and adjust estimates as needed;
- Communicate delays or issues to clients and insurers;
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering courteous and professional service aligned with company values;
- Perform any other related tasks.
YOUR PROFILE:
We’re looking for someone dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service. A methodical and efficient person who will play a key role in our workshop.
- Experience as an auto body technician (asset);
- Strong ability to manage priorities;
- Experience with Mitchell, Audatex, ProgiParts, Kaptor systems (asset);
- Valid driver’s license (required);
- Bilingualism (asset);
- Knowledge of vehicle technologies.
