Exterior Features

If you thought the previous Tundra had a rugged exterior, you will be blown away by the new 2022 edition. The completely redesigned Toyota truck is even more muscular than ever and, depending on the version and options you choose, it can be equipped with 18- to 20-inch wheels.

We also love its imposing grille and sculpted lines which create a breathtaking look.

Interior Features

Like its exterior, the interior of the new 2022 Tundra was designed to reflect its power and performance. It features a new theme called Technical Muscle, and this stylistic signature is a resounding success.

You’ll also notice that unlike other trucks in this class which rely on a vertical layout, the Tundra uses a more horizontal design in its integration of the dashboard and centre console.

The cabin is spacious and welcoming, with comfortable seats, high-quality materials and expert workmanship. Let yourself be seduced!

Technical Specs

A lot has changed under the hood of the 2022 Toyota Tundra, and we are delighted by what we’ve seen! It is equipped with the same powerful 5.7 L V8 engine as the outgoing model, but its power has jumped from 381 to 389 horsepower.

You can also choose to equip your truck with the i-FORCE MAX twin-turbo V6 hybrid engine, which boasts an impressive 437 horsepower. That’s the most powerful engine in its class. Both engines are paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Incredible towing capacity of the new Toyota truck

Did you get a lot of work done with the 2021 Tundra’s 9700-pound towing capacity? Then you’ll be happy to learn that the 2022 Toyota Tundra boasts an incredible maximum capacity of 12,000 pounds, which puts it dangerously close to its rivals. It also offers a generous payload of 1,940 pounds.

2022 Tundra: off-roading performance

Depending on which version of the Tundra you choose – particularly with the TRD Off-Road Package – you’ll experience a powerful off-roading performance. Be sure to explore the optional Multi-Terrain Monitor, which displays all of your surroundings so you can be sure you are clear of obstacles.

It is also equipped with a TRD suspension as well as protective plates along the bottom of the truck to protect the mechanical components when you’re out adventuring on rough terrain.
