New Design 2021 Sienna From Toyota

ST sienna 2021 EN 745x390 1

In an effort to redefine the segment, the fourth-generation Toyota Sienna reinvents itself and adapts to a wider range of people, activities and situations. Now equipped with a hybrid powertrain on all trim levels and a range of new technologies and amenities, the recently unveiled 2021 Sienna from Toyota raises the bar in its segment in terms of style, safety, comfort, versatility and fuel efficiency. It will be available as of this fall at your Sherbrooke Toyota dealership in the heart of the Eastern Townships.

The 2021 Toyota Sienna Model for You!

The 2021 all-hybrid Sienna takes its inspiration from the bold, rugged character of SUVs and offers many premium features: power sliding side doors and foot-activated power tailgate, four-zone climate control system in a distinctly attractive instrument panel, extra-long sliding and heated captain’s seats with second row leg rests, vacuum cleaner and on-board refrigerator, power tilt/telescopic steering column (a first in the segment), heated steering wheel, digital rearview mirror, 10″ colour head-up display and a 12-speaker JBL Premium Sound System.

Toyota Canada says the 2021 Sienna will also be ready for outdoor adventures with its available all-wheel drive (AWD), and it’s absolutely right. The minivan also offers a tow hitch to help you carry camping equipment. Plus, all versions of the 2021 Sienna have the capacity to tow up to 3,500 lb, which is enough to tow a well-equipped compact touring trailer, or simply to transport your bikes for a family getaway.

The driver of this minivan may not even notice the most important technological innovation of this new model: the hybrid powertrain. That’s just what the engineers intended. The Toyota II hybrid system develops a total of 243 horsepower combined with a combined fuel consumption estimated by the manufacturer at 7.1 L/100 km, a benchmark for the segment, while operating seamlessly. The two electric motors operating in tandem with the 2.5-litre, 4-cylinder, high-output DOHC engine provide particularly vigorous low-end torque.

What’s more, the new Sienna has no plug and the hybrid battery never needs to be recharged. Nor will the owner need to spend two or three thousand dollars to install a charger in the garage. The Toyota II hybrid system automatically recharges the hybrid battery while driving.

The fourth-generation minivan offers a combination of space, comfort and convenience. Starting with an all-new structure based on the TNGA-K platform, the goal is to optimize all the qualities associated with a minivan, while wrapping it all up in a bold, seductive and provocative body, broadening in the process the very definition of the next-generation minivan.

“The design of the front end was inspired by Japan’s iconic Shinkansen high-speed train to create a sleek, fast and confident appearance. The headlights are mounted high and extend to the sides as if shaped by the wind. The bold lower grille is highlighted by thin, high-tech LED fog lights pushed to the corners, which enhance the vehicle’s stable, well-cambered stance.”

To optimize interior space while avoiding a square design, the rear of the cabin features a dynamically forward inclined pillar. The taillights extend harmoniously from the sculpted bodywork towards the rear and use thin strips of LED lighting to create a unique light signature. The deeply sculpted, neat-looking tailgate features an integrated spoiler, made possible by a moulded resin process.

The even sportier XSE takes excitement, sportiness and driving experience to a new level in the minivan segment.
